open invitation to businesses and public actors

Finland needs positive examples of growth and productivity now more than ever, so we would like to invite ten (10) Finnish companies or public sector actors that have achieved fairer growth or productivity to join our survey and league. For us fair growth is sustainable and meaningful.

The aim of the study is to find best practice lessons that can potentially boost a better working life and growth for Finland. We want to give a voice to all levels of the organisation. The survey answers the main question: why has your organisation succeeded together?

The research is carried out by research professionals from Sailer(https://sailer.fi/). The survey will be conducted as a light questionnaire and a video case interview. Participants will gain commensurable research knowledge, visibility and a high-quality video report that can be used for communication.

Participation is free of charge. The results will be published during the autumn and winter of 2025-2026 on the Fairness League channels. The deadline for applications is 30.8.2025. Final selections will be made no later than the application period. See below for more detailed criteria.

Criteria for the growth company applying

  • established in Finland, whose share capital is owned by Finns
  • Turnover (2024) above 10ME
  • Staff (2024) at least approx. 50 people
  • Growth has been achieved in a sustainable way during Finland’s period of no growth (2010-2025)

There are good practical lessons to be learned from different levels of the organisation. We are not looking for problems, but for opportunities, for practical actions that have made fairer growth possible. The criteria limits can also be flexibly adjusted on a case-by-case basis; the essential factor is the successful scaling of operations.

The deadline for applications is 30.8.2025.

Criteria for the public actor applying

  • The actor can be at local or national level, with its own budgetary unit
  • The size of the activity (2024) is at least the size of the growth companies
  • Productivity has been sustainably achieved during Finland’s period of no growth (2010-2025)

The productivity story has some good practical lessons to share from different levels of the organisation. We are not looking for problems, but for opportunities, for practical actions that have made fairer growth possible. The criteria limits can also be flexibly adjusted on a case-by-case basis; the essential factor is the successful scaling of operations.
